Who should attend this seminar?
Employees who would like to think more critically and creatively on a daily basis - and when under pressure from deadlines, and well...life itself. What will my employees learn?
They will learn how to:
● Proactively identify potential problems and conflicts ● Recognize and overcome barriers to critical and creative thinking ● Turn old and new ideas into practical, real world solutions ● Think inside and outside "the box" in any type of work environment ●
Stimulate critical and creative thinking in
team members, customers & vendors ● Read and analyze information from multiple perspectives ●
Write memos, e-mails, letters, and reports that
grab the attention of their readers ● Listen for key information during meetings, classes, and conversations ● Effectively communicate their ideas to others
Why do you offer 4, 6 & 8-hour formats?
The 6 and 8-hour seminars (available in a 1 or 2-day format) will provide significant hands-on training to help your employees immediately transfer their new skills back to the workplace. The 4-hour seminar will provide participants with essential strategies (and resources) to apply once they return to work (often the same day). The shorter format also serves as a practical refresher for experienced employees (who may not have time to spend a full day away from the office). How is this seminar different?
Most creative thinking programs provide in-class activities to help participants "loosen up" to free their minds and allow the creative juices to flow. However, these activities are always conducted in a controlled training environment - without threat of consequence. As a result, many participants quickly discover, once they are back in their normal (real-world) work environment, it is not so easy to recreate those same free-flowing creative thoughts.
In our seminar, we will show your employees how to use their preferred thinking style and their own unique personality to master the critical and creative thinking process. As a result, they will be able to call upon their own cognitive strengths to quickly develop new and innovative ideas in every type of work environment. Equally important, they will learn how to deal effectively with others
whom may have different personalities, priorities, motivations, and thinking styles.
