This seminar has been designed to maximize the effectiveness of your training programs. Even the most qualified instructor can only do so much to ensure your employees comprehend and retain the information. In the end, it is the employee's responsibility to learn and apply the information (and skills) presented in the training.

However, we will not only show your employees how to read, write, and listen more effectively, we will improve their overall learning capability by showing them how to use their own preferred learning style to receive and process information.  By helping them focus on how they personally learn best, they should be less hesitant to approach new information, and more willing to learn tasks outside their current field of expertise.

How is it possible to improve my employees' learning skills in just 12 hours? 


We should point out that this is not a gimmick or "feel good" course.  Our 12-hour seminar will provide your employees with all the tools and knowledge to become extremely efficient learners.  To facilitate the learning process they will actually use their current work materials to apply our learning strategies during the seminar.  This instructional approach will help your employees transition their new skills more quickly into their normal work day - of course, as a bonus your employees will be completing many of their employer-assigned tasks during the seminar.

As a bonus, if any of the seminar participants need additional help with their learning skills (after the seminar), they can refer to their TLC Strategies Binder, or they can contact their seminar instructor (for up to 6 months) and receive personalized assistance. 

Can the results of this seminar be quantified? 


Absolutely, we administer a pre-test during the first class session and post-test during the final session.  We will also show your employees how to assess their own learning skills in the future through self-testing.

If you prefer, participants can be sent our online post-seminar assessment.  The results can be tabulated and summarized for your review.

What is the difference between the (12, 15 & 20-Hour) seminar formats? 


The shorter format (12 hours) will include the majority of our reading and learning strategies, but the practice time will be limited. The longer formats (15 and 20 hours) will include every element of our program, plus allow for extensive practice of the techniques during each session.
