Many managers remain stuck in their "comfort zone" - a thinking style that prevents them from accepting new ideas - and from working effectively with different personalities.
Example
An employee approaches a linear-oriented manager with a request - the manager is currently working on another project - the manager's "comfort zone" would be to tell the employee, "Come back later, I have to finish this project." (strong linear thinkers prefer to stay focused on one task at a time).
A global-oriented manager (in the same situation) would likely respond to the employee's request, but may procrastinate returning to the initial project (strong global thinkers like starting new projects, but often dislike finishing existing projects). |

What will the participants learn?
They will learn how to:
● Identify the strengths and weaknesses of their employees
● Delegate tasks to ensure efficient use of the organization's time & money
● Effectively communicate instructions to ensure the organization's goals are met
● Handle under-performing & difficult employees via policies & effective communication
How is this seminar different?
We will show your managers how to break free from their "comfort zone". Linear thinkers will learn how to use their strong organizational skills to multi-task - while considering the "big picture". Global thinkers will learn how to use their "strategic skills" to structure their workload - and use templates to keep them focused and on task. As a result, your managers will experience less stress, and be able to communicate more effectively with the various personalities within their teams.

Why do you offer 4, 6 & 8-hour formats?
The 6 and 8-hour seminars (available in a 1 or 2-day format) will provide significant hands-on training to help your managers immediately transfer their new skills back to the workplace. The 4-hour seminar will provide participants with essential strategies (and resources) to apply once they return to work (often the same day).
The shorter format also serves as a practical refresher for experienced managers (who may not have time to spend a full day away from the office).
