  Target Thinking:
Inside & Outside the Box

A 4, 6 or 8-Hour Seminar to Help Employees Think Critically & Creatively Under Pressure

Easier and faster access to information can help organizations remain competitive but only if their employees are able to use the information wisely.

Unfortunately, when adults are flooded with new information, and pressured by deadlines, information overload occurs. As a result, adults can become defensive and highly selective when choosing information. In other words, they tend to rely on information that supports their personal point of view - in effect, they develop a "comfort zone" that significantly inhibits their ability to think critically and creatively in a work environment.

Who should attend this seminar?

Employees who would like to think more critically and creatively under pressure.

What will my employees learn?

They will learn how to:

Proactively identify potential client problems and conflicts
Recognize and overcome barriers to creative thinking
Turn old and new ideas into practical, real world solutions
Think outside "the box" in any type of work environment
Stimulate creative thinking in team members, clients & vendors
Effectively communicate their creative ideas to others

Why do you offer 4, 6 & 8-hour formats?

The 6 and 8-hour seminars (available in a 1 or 2-day format) will provide significant hands-on training to help your employees immediately transfer their new skills back to the workplace.  The 4-hour seminar will provide participants with essential strategies (and resources) to apply once they return to work (often the same day). The shorter format also serves as a practical refresher for experienced employees (who may not have time to spend a full day away from the office).

How is this seminar different?

Most creative thinking programs provide in-class activities to help participants "loosen up" to free their minds and allow the creative juices to flow. However, these activities are always conducted in a controlled training environment - without threat of consequence. As a result, many participants quickly discover, once they are back in their normal (real-world) work environment, it is not so easy to recreate those same free-flowing creative thoughts.

In our seminar, we will show your employees how to use their
preferred thinking style and their own unique personality to master the creative thinking process. As a result, they will be able to quickly call upon their own cognitive strengths to quickly develop new and innovative ideas in every type of work environment.
