       Target Thinking
A 4 or 6-Hour Public Seminar to Help You Analyze & Implement New Information from a Critical (and Creative) Perspective

Do you sometimes:

Have difficulty thinking creatively under pressure?
Find it difficult to critically analyze new information?
 Feel overwhelmed with your workload?

If you answered "yes" to any of these questions - relax, you're perfectly normal. In many stressful situations, our high-level thinking skills can become less of a priority to our brain.

So, why do some people consistently excel under pressure? For the most part, they have developed coping mechanisms that take advantage of their personal way of thinking. In other words, they have learned how to use their personal thinking style to coordinate new and old information more effectively.

Who should attend?

Anyone who would like to think more critically and creatively when under pressure.

What will I learn?

You will learn how to use your personal learning (and thinking) strengths to quickly develop creative and practical ideas from existing information. Overall, you will leave this seminar with the mental tools to see beyond the obvious, and the confidence to handle creative projects under strict deadlines.

Specifically, you will learn how to:

Proactively identify potential problems and conflicts at work, school and home
Recognize and overcome barriers to creative thinking
Turn old and new ideas into practical, real world solutions
Think outside "the box" in any type of work environment
Stimulate creative thinking in friends, co-workers & clients
Effectively communicate your creative ideas to others

Why do you have different format lengths for the same seminar?

Some individuals can't spend a full day away from work - and some find it difficult to remain focused during a full-day seminar.  Therefore, we created a 4-hour seminar format to present you with all of the strategies necessary to achieve your learning objectives.  Of course, we assume you will immediately return to work after the seminar and apply these strategies to ensure maximum retention.

During our 6-hour format you will have the opportunity to extensively practice our strategies on your own work-related materials (i.e. document types or issues that you find personally challenging).

What makes this seminar different?

Most creative thinking programs provide activities to help participants "loosen up" - to free their minds and allow the creative juices to flow. However, these activities are always conducted in a controlled training environment - without threat of consequence. As a result, many participants quickly discover, once they are back in their normal (real-world) work environment, it is not so easy to recreate those same free-flowing creative thoughts.

In this seminar, we will show you how to use your preferred thinking style and your own unique personality to master the creative thinking process. As a result, once you leave our seminar you will be able to call upon your own cognitive strengths to quickly develop new and innovative ideas in any type of work (or learning) environment.
